What are they made of?
Solid American steel, cut into a full silhouette. Every piece comes in two finishes: raw steel and black.
Which finish should I pick?
Raw steel if you want it to change. Black if you want it to stay exactly as it arrived.
Raw steel ships bare. It starts rusting with the first rain and settles into a deep red brown over the first season. Black is a matte powder coat, baked on before it ships, and it holds that color for years.
Raw steel is also the cheaper of the two.
Will the rust run onto my fence?
It can, in the first few weeks. As the surface sets, early rain carries some color down onto whatever sits directly below.
On a pale fence, a painted wall, or new decking, think about placement first. You can also let the piece weather on a tarp for a few weeks before you put it where you want it.
How do I put one up?
Find your spot on a tree, a fence post, or a wooden wall. Tap the stake in with a hammer.
Hard wood, old oak, anything you have to lean on: drill a small pilot hole first and it goes in clean.
How big are they?
Most run between 7 and 17 inches. The exact dimensions are on each product page.
How long will my order take?
We ship within 2 business days. Delivery runs 5 to 7 business days after that.
Figure 7 to 9 business days from the day you order to the day it lands.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not right now. US addresses only.
I am buying this as a gift. When should I order?
Two weeks out is comfortable. Christmas and Valentine’s Day are our heaviest weeks, so give those a few extra days.
Can I return it?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, as long as the piece is unused and in its original box. Email [email protected] with your order number to start.
Once a raw steel piece has been staked outside it has begun to weather, and we cannot take it back.
Mine arrived bent or damaged.
